Spring is slowly but surely springing and Café Pouchkine has decided to give it a hand! To celebrate sunny days, the famous café with a Russian aristocratic cuisine reveals four sweet creations likely to delight all taste buds!

Obviously, summer fruits are given pride of place: strawberry, raspberry, lemon and even poppy, sweetness and sourness are mixed for a fresh and spring result. On sale from April 24, these pastries are limited edition! Indeed, they are available for a few months only

Tarte Soleil Raspberry Coconut

As an emblem of Café Pouchkine, the “Tarte Soleil” is available every season with varied flavors! For this spring edition, the tart relies on a coconut streusel and held a raspberry heart under a coconut cream. Roundly set, generous fresh strawberries bring a lovely colorful note.

Vesna Dessert

In Russian, vesna means “spring”! Light, fruity, it’s a true seasonal dessert that bears its name really well. Put on a shortbread, it holds a soft biscuit and a grapefruit Bavarian cream, topped with fresh strawberries and candied grapefruit.

Bergamot, poppy and strawberry Matryoshka doll

Like a Russian doll, the spring Matryoshka holds many treasures! Topping a shortbread, this pastry doll is made of a strawberry compote and cream as well as a bergamot meringue. The final touch: the beautiful silhouette of the Matryoshka is glazed with poppy jelly.

Camellia Entremets

This entremets thought up for Mother’s Day combines the sweetness of the cherry and the sourness of the lemon, in a wonderful floral setting. Set on a Viennese shortbread, the entremets holds a lemon biscuit, a mousse and a cherry confit. This Camelia is topped with white chocolate petals and a lime whipped cream.
