Papa Boun opens its first “briocherie” in the Montorgueil neighborhood for gourmet foodies’ greatest joy.
It’s artist Angélina Guez who painted the walls of the store which explains the very colorful atmosphere.
But careful though, Papa Boun is not your average brioche. As a matter of fact, it’s revisited with a touch of modernity and colors.
The bread tastes like a bun, a kind of brioche bread with a fine crust we mostly use for burgers.
The idea comes from 3 young gastronomy enthusiasts who wanted to propose this major classic but in two versions: savory and sweet, so that you can have one at any time of the day.
This is also how you can find pastrami-pickles and honey-mustard brioches, or stracciatella-tomatoes-arugula and cream brioche or the one with salmon-cream cheese-avocado-arugula and lemon…
In terms of sweet version, you’ve got to taste the brioche with praline chunks, the one with dulce de leche caramel or the coconut and even with raspberry, to name just a few…!
And if you feel like discovering a classic of French gastronomy with a twist, run to discover the brand-new briocherie, Papa Boun!
