Ah la la, if only there were a place in Paris where you could go berserk in complete peace of mind... Ah, yes, there is! It's called the Fury Room!
Legend has it that in the heart of the capital's 2nd arrondissement, this very Fury Room is waiting for you to give free rein to your anger! The room is inspired by an unusual concept that originated in Japan and has since spread to the four corners of the globe under a variety of names: Rage Room, Anger Room...
In Paris, the concept takes the form of the Fury Room. The idea? Satisfy your anger and rage for a variety of reasons: stress, fatigue, transport delays, traffic jams on the road, work...
But how do these rooms work? Ranging in price from 20 to a hundred euros, they offer a range of packages with ambiguous names(Housebreaker, Chaos, Madness, Riot, Madhouse...), with sessions lasting from 10 minutes to 45 minutes, depending on your anger of the day.

Alone or in a group, the Fury Room provides you with equipment to smash and demolish (screens, plates, bottles, glass, bricks, printers, furniture...). Once you're well protected, it's up to you to hit with a baseball bat or a sledgehammer, to break and let off steam and, in the end, come out relieved and soothed!
"It's a way of letting off steam for people who've had enough of the metro-work-sleep routine. Among our customers, we have a lot of young employees in open spaces, especially from start-ups, who are in front of their screens all day. Instead of having an afterwork with their colleagues in a local bar, they come and visit us," said Aurélie Bezard, the venue's co-manager, to Le Parisien.
So, if you're up for the experience, come and visit Paris' first Fury Room!
