A new sweater for this winter 2018 and an eco-friendly sweater, how does it sound? The brand 1083 has just released a sweater made of recycled and entirely made in France firemen’s sweaters!

That’s a good idea for a Christmas gift for men or women whose dream once was – when they were kids – to become a firefighter! The denim brand 1083 has just open its first store in Paris and designed a sweater made of recycled firemen’s sweaters.

The eco-friendly brand joined forces with the Filature du Parc, the Manufacture Regain and the firefighters to do another step into sustainable and reasoned fashion. As a matter of fact, 1083 is the only brand making jeans in France, from the design to the washing-out and the whole using organic cotton.

Called 18-Volontaire, this sweater has been entirely recycled, spun, dyed, knitted and made in France, and you can have a man or woman sweater.

1083 has chosen to keep the original navy-blue color of the firemen’s sweaters that make 65% of the raw material of these new sweaters.

These lovely navy sweaters are not only classy but actually scoff at the current fast fashion and this is very positive. So, if you were looking for a sweater meeting your ecological values, you have found it!
