Formula E, the auto racing using only electric-powered cars, is in Paris on Saturday April 27, 2019 and always at the Invalides. This year, 11 teams face off one another for the e-Prix de Paris featuring 100% electric-powered single-seaters in a 1.93-km tour including 14 turns!

ABB FIA Formula E is the auto racing championship using open-wheel and only electric-powered cars, in other words a championship more ecological than formula 1 where automakers battle each other across electric technologies. And good news, the championship stops by Paris on Friday April 26 and Saturday 27, 2019 in the wonderful Invalides area!

The e-Prix 2019 race covers 1.93 km and includes 14 turns around the avenues set all around the Hôtel des Invalides, exceptionally closed to the usual traffic that day. You can attend the race for free and only  apart of the circuit but the view is very limited. To enjoy the race, seats in bleachers are available starting this November and have many assets such as the tour of the stands earlier that day, but tickets are already sold out for this year.

For the season 2018-2019 (the 4th season), the Formula E championship makes 11 teams and 22 of the world's best drivers face off with 13 legs and 250kW max single-seaters. They have to be able to speed up from 0 to 100kmh (0-62 mph) in 3 seconds with 18-inch Michelin tires for dry and humid conditions.

For the Paris E-Prix, you'll have to follow French-Chinese team DS Techeetah member and current winner French Jean-Eric Vergne, and BMW I leader Andretti Motorsport.
