True Fédération Française d'Athlétisme - FFA [French Federation of Athletism] and International Association of Athletics Federations - IAAF-labelled competition, 20 kilomètres de Paris is probably the most mythical running experience in Paris as well as the most festive and popular one. Benefiting from 38 editions, 20 kilomètres de Paris is back on Sunday October 13, 2019, this race will gather between 25,000 and 30,000 runners from 100 countries in the streets of the French capital.
An exceptional route
The route wants to highlight the most beautiful places in the western part of Paris (the Eiffel Tower, Trocadéro, the Arc de Triomphe, the Bois de Boulogne, Roland Garros, Maison de la Radio, the Grand Palais, the Tuileries, the Pont Royal, and the left banks…) while maintaining a high level of safety: a tourist tour of Paris for this 20-km race.
Fore more flow, the race will start in waves, all in all 20 waves of 1500 runners.
Think about signing up as early as possible to enjoy the best races. Let’s recall the edition 2017 of 20 kilomètres de Paris saw 30,000 runners from 105 countries departing. A beautiful 39th edition promoting street art and offering live works and artists.
Moving on to entertainments, music is played at the village and all along the race. Please note that changing rooms are available at the Stade Emile Anthoine set not far from the starting line in the 15th arrondissement.
Last year's teaser:
In other words, a beautiful race in the heart of Paris and to take up the challenge of these 20 kilometers in Paris, don’t forget to register.
