For Easter 2021, Meilleur Ouvrier de France Chocolatier and La Maison du Chocolat chocolate-maker Nicolas Cloiseau unveils his "Destination Planète Chocolat" collection.
In simple words, friends, it seems we are the only planet on which cocoa grows. Extraterrestrials figured it out and are coming to try and take all our chocolate. Here is another playful and fun universe likely to delight children and adults.
This year again, the chef takes us to lovely places. This time, let us head to South America with pure origin cocoas: Peru with Pilote Pérou, Ecuador with Capitaine Equateur and Jamaica with Agent Jamaïque, of course, wonderful origins to tickle our taste buds.
On the menu:
Oeuf volant non identifié
€1,500 for the giant 7.3-kg egg, limited edition

An exclusive UFO made in 10 samples and entirely hand-made. This cocoa work of art requires at least one week's work for the teams and 7 kilograms of chocolate. This egg is made like a Russian doll. Laid on a dark 66% Ecuador chocolate disc, it holds another egg made of milk chocolate and 50 praline eggs. It is made of 39% pure Peru milk chocolate and 66% pure Ecuador dark chocolate. We must hail the work on chocolate that includes around 650 handmade holes.
Next up, welcome the famous chocolate heroes. Each character is made of two faces: one molded chocolate face, and a delicious face based on crêpe dentelle, grilled or caramelized pecan nuts or hazelnuts. Allow €35 for the 105-g piece. Size: 13cmx8cmx5cm. These pieces are available in store and online starting February 24, 2021.
