Looking for some Epiphany Cake that changes from the traditional cakes? Those provided by Maison Aleph will delight you.
All year long, Maison Aleph offers Parisians and tourists to discover pastries made with traditional Levantine ingredients such as jasmine, sumac and even rose from Damascus, thanks to pastry chef Myriam Sabet’s know how.
For Epiphany 2022, Myriam Sabet does not break the rule and came up with four Epiphany cakes you won’t be able to find anywhere else. Instead of the traditional flaky pastry used for French Epiphany Cakes, the chef went for phyllo pastry; and we can tell you that the different caramelized layers, cooked in clarified butter from Normandy, make us drool!
You can choose between four cakes, the brand-new cinammon cake, the surprising almond-orange blossom cake, the excellent Iranian pistachio cake, and the Sesame-halva cake. It is so hard to choose with all these flavors!
These Epiphany Cakes will be available at the rue de la Verrerie store, serving 5-6 or 8-10, and in individual size.
It is simple, with their oh-so original flavors, their deliciously cripsy puff pastry, we love Maison Aleph creations for Epiphany 2022! So, which one of these four Epiphany cakes will you get?
