European Heritage Days are the best occasion to discover the capital city’s gems. From the most famous monuments to the most mysterious ones, this is the occasion to see Paris in a new light and know everything about the City of Lights. For this edition 2021, on September 18 and 19, go and enjoy the Latin Quarter to discover all the secrets of the Collège des Bernardins.

Place of meeting, culture, research and training, the Collège des Bernardins is a landmark in the cultural life in Paris and a wonderful building with Cistercian architecture that is really worth the trip! Listed as historic monument, it was a school, a prison, and even a barrack before it returned to its initial use and become the cultural place we know today. This building from the 13th century even used to house a church that was turned into a stone carry before being destroyed.

For European Heritage Days on September 18 and 19, 2021, the Collège des Bernardins opens with a rich program filled with music and tours. You can choose to roam around the vaults for a self-guided tour or dive into the story of the Collège thanks to different guided tours for the entire family!

Let us enjoy this historic building for the weekend, shall we?
