The latter will take you to the different spaces of this prestigious building for a journey to the heart of the medieval archives and the archives from the Ancien Régime, as well as to the heart of the deposits of Louis-Philippe and Napoleon III, open only on rare occasions. This is the chance to discover the Iron wardrobe and a few founding documents especially out of their boxes: Merovingian and Carolingian charters, standard meter bar, Declaration of the Rights of Man and of Citizens… Tours start every thirty minutes, from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (duration: circa 45 minutes) + 11 a.m. on Saturday, descriptive and tactile visit and at 2 p.m. on Saturday, tour completed in French Sign Language.
