Set in Paris 7th arrondissement, the UNESCO headquarters open its doors on Saturday September 17 and Sunday 18, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Here, no guided tour but a free discovery and self-guided tour of this temple for the protection of cultural World Heritage.
This si the occasion to learn more about the iconic UNESCO House and rediscover its modern architecture, unique collection of works of art ans its Japanese garden.
This 39th edition of the European Heritage Days is the occasion to admire masterpieces displayed at UNESCO: masterworks by Picasso, Miro, Moore, Chilida and even Giacometti. You will also have the chance to have a walk in the Japanese garden of UNESCO and discover all the details of its emblematic architecture.
And that is not all since conferences and debates are held on September 17 and 18 for the 50th anniversary of World's Heritage.

Go and discover the The Art Maze, a project developed with NATO to celebrate the 50th anniversary of UNESCO's World's Heritage sites. To inaugurate this painting exhibition shining a light on the beauty and diversity of the World's Heritage sites, British artist Sacha Jafri will be in Paris.
Come and meet with the Organization experts all weekend long and talk about strong topics about the heritage during debates and learn more about UNESCO's main actions.
Go behind the scene of UNESCO with an augmented reality exhibition taking you to works not open to the public at the headquarters.
Come and enjoy episodes from the documentary series "Les Merveilles de l'UNESCO" offering to go and see humanity's treasures...
The youngest visitors are expected in the kitchen garden area to enjoy a treasure hunt.
