For European Heritage Days 2018, exceptionally visit the Jardin de l’Infante with the curator in charge of the Louvre gardens. This small and sophisticated garden usually closed to the public will be open on Sunday September 16 but careful though… seats are limited!

Save the date! Exceptional visit ahead! On the occasion of the 35th edition of European Heritage Days held this September 2018, you have the rare opportunity to be part of the guided tour of the Jardin de l’Infante near the Louvre.

Indeed, this small garden is usually closed to the public and its access is allowed only on rare occasions such as European Heritage Days. But beyond the chance to be able to go in the garden, note that the curator in charge of the Louvre garden heritage will be here herself! A particularly well-placed person to tell you the story of this garden recently refurbished. To top it all, you can admire the summer apartments of Anne of Austria from which you can join the park.

Visits will take place on Sunday September 16 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. and are limited to 25-person group only. To be part of these tours, we highly recommend signing up by email before. On D-day, you may be required to show up at the group reception area of the Louvre (entry via the Passage Richelieu to access then the lower part of the Pyramid).
