Maison Poursin is the oldest Parisian manufacture still working and specialized in fastening and copper work. The story of this family business dates all the way back to 1830. After being specialized for a long time in saddlery items and harnesses, it extended its know-how to top of the range leather goods.
Still today, brass wire bending, stamping, assembly, silver weld and the different finish are made like yesteryear, by hand, within the factory set on rue des Vinaigriers.
To discover this family know-how, on September 21 and 22, 2019 head to Maison Poursin. The House makes the best of European Heritage Days to make curious people discover its factories on guided tours. On the occasion, master of the place Karl Lemaire will be here to walk the visitors through the place.
