In an epidemiologic report as of April 23, 2021, Santé Publique France reveals the proportion of preoccupying coronavirus variants – including South African and Brazilian variants – is growing stable.

Is the health situation improving in France? News have been encouraging over the past couple of days: between the decline of the incidence rate and the stabilization of patients hospitalized, the coronavirus epidemic is slowly withdrawing. Although this decrease is being confirmed, indicators yet remain high and the overall balance fragile.

In an epidemiologic report as of April 23, 2021, Santé Publique France speaks about a stabilization of the proportion of preoccupying coronavirus variant suspicions compared with the week before. As for the South-African (20H/501Y.V2) and Brazilian variants (20J/501Y.V3) their share grows stable to 4.2%. But some scientists are already worried about the soon arrival of the Indian variant in France.
