Free public transports in Paris the night between December 31, 2017 and January 1, 2018

No, you don’t have to leave the party at midnight! To make the best of it, public transport will work all night long between December 31, 2017 and January 1, 2018. Renewed every year by the STIF [Transport Service in the Ile de France region] comes along at just the right time and save the night of thousands of partygoers who can use transports for free! If you plan to drink a lot, this may be the wisest decision.

Have you planned to move a lot for the New Year’s Eve night? If so, it’s perfect since, just last year, the STIF, the authority organizing your transports in Ile de France, offers you its operation called “Free transports for the New Year’s Night”.

You may have got it, but public transports will not only work all night long during the night of December 31, but they will be free in Paris and close suburbs, from 5 p.m. to 12 p.m.

From the traditional bus to the metro without forgetting the RER or the commuter trains, get ready to travel for free even if you – you know it – you won’t be the only one to enjoy it! So, 10 trains and RER lines, 6 metro lines and many buses lines (Noctiliens and special circuits) will work all night long.
