Not less than 3,000 French museums took part in European Museums Night 2016, and over 2 million visitors answered the call. This year, thousands of activities are organized within the participating museums (concerts, guided tours, screenings, performances...).
For museum regulars and unique museum enthusiasts, Museums Night also offers the perfect opportunity to visit unusual places like the French Playing Card Museum!

A show with Auguste Rodin
Saturday May 19, 2018 from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m;
As part of the exhibition "Rodin et son mouleur Paul Cruel" displayed at the French Playing Card Museum, the Compagnie Paris Lyrique with soprano Françoise Krief, baritone Frédéric Bang-Rouhet and pianist Isabelle Poulain invites you to a lyric stroll in Paris of the Belle Epoque, to talk about, twenty years before WWI, of the frivolity, the cheerfulness, the euphoria, the scientific progress as well as the development of an artistic, litterary and music life particularly rich.
The Paris of cabarets, concert-cafés, salons, World Fairs, is the Paris sculptor Auguste Rodin (1840-1917) knew, as well as did composers like Jacques Offenbach or singers like Yvette Guilbert and Gaston Dona.
