For Valentine’s Day 2020, forget about kitsch and chocolate hearts, at Musée Rodin, love is to be found at night.
In an intimate atmosphere, Musée Rodin opens to music lovers, poetry and sculpture fans for a sensory journey between Rodin’s works, softly lit on February 14, 2020 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
We don’t ignore sculpture sacred monster Auguste Rodin’s many love stories, Camille Claudel being the most famous one. We easily imagine Rodin plunging his hands into loam, inspired by the sensual stories that haunted his mind; this explains why the Musée Rodin decided to organize a small event to honor Valentine’s Day 2020 and Paris lovers.
Love is reinvented following sculptures curves from the famous Kiss, of course, as well as from all naked bodies of mythological heroes and heroines. Excitation guaranteed!
Moreover, on the occasion, the Barbara Hepworth exhibition will be exceptionally open for those who still haven't got the chance to see it.
Successful date night ahead!
