Saint Denis Festival 2018: “David Bowie – Blackstar” at the Basilica of Saint Denis

On January 10, 2016, David Bowie left us, leaving behind him many orphan fans. Two days prior his death, “Blackstar” was released, David Bowie’s 26^th studio album. “Blackstar” is seen as a wonderful will-album, critically and publicly acclaimed.

On Wednesday June 20, 2018, the Basilica of Saint Denis will propose you to pay tribute to David Bowie especially to his latest album, “Blackstar”.

Carried out by the female voices of Anna Calvi, Jeanne Added, Anja Plaschg (aka Soap&Skin) and Laetitia Sadier, this tribute concert will be directed by André de Ridder with the complicity of Jherek Bischoff.

This concert is to be discovered as part of the new edition of Saint Denis Festival, a music festival taking over Saint Denis from May 31 to July 5 and that will welcome Renaud Capuçon, Marianne Crebassa and even Nicholas Andelich.
