Good news, friends, since American The Lumineers bandmates are back! Seven years after their first eponymous album and three years after their second album called “Cleopatra”, The Lumineers are said to reveal later this summer their third and new album, “III”. Shaped like chapters, this more mature and darker album is the occasion for The Lumineers to step in a project that was ticking over their minds since their debuts.
To make us wait, the folk-rock band has revealed a first extract caked “Gloria”:
And whoever speaks about a new album also speaks about a new tour! In France, The Lumineers expect you in Paris for one night and one night only at La Villette Zénith on Wednesday November 20, 2019.
For the record, The Lumineers have been riding the wave of success since the release of their first and eponymous album in 2012.
Paced by the singles “Ho Hey” and “Stubborn Love”, considered as genuine hits, this first album enabled Wesley Schultz (voice, guitar), Jeremiah Fraites (drums) and Neyla Pekarek (cello and voice) to make themselves a name quickly in the musical field.
Since then, Neyla Pekarek left the band (in October 2018) in order to focus on her solo career. It didn’t prevent Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites to carry their musical project on. Proof of it with this new album called “III” out in stores on September 13, 2019 and this new tour that will delight the many The Lumineers fans.
To (re)discover The Lumineers live, meet at Paris La Villette Zénith this fall and don’t forget tickets go on sale this Wednesday April 10, 2019 at 10 a.m. (GMT+1).
