James Bond soundtracks are coming to Paris Le Grand Rex on Friday February 14 and Saturday 15, 2020 for “Bond Symphonique”.
For the first time, 50 musicians from the Orchestre Colonne and Musidrama and two singers will perform a symphonic concert giving pride of place to the saga’s themes and songs, the whole conducted by Samuel Séné.
James Bond fans know it, some themes and tracks have become classics in the field of movie soundtracks.
By the way, James Bond movie soundtracks have been performed by huge artists such as Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones, Nancy Sinatra, Paul McCartney, A-ha, Tina Turner, Sheryl Crow, Madonna, Jack White and even Adèle who won the Oscar for best original song for “Skyfall”, as well as a Golden Globe and a Critic’s Choice Movie Award.
During the “Bond Symphonique” concert, the audience will be happy to enjoy live version of the most famous themes including the famous “James Bond Theme” as well as “Goldfinger”, “Diamonds are forever”, “Goldeneye”, “Skyfall”, “Live And Let Die”, “Die Another Day”, “A View To A Kill”, “You Only Live Twice” and “Nobody Does It Better”.
