With Cosmopolis Paris Centre Pompidou welcomes a project that goes beyond a simple exhibition to experience from October 23 to December 23, 2019. Meet on the first floor, Galerie 3 (a place visible from the outside) to wonder about the new issues of technology.

What if modern art was something other than exhibitions? Since artists are alive, since many of them break down barriers between arts and disciplines and are "searchers" what about meeting these researches no matter their shape?

This is what offers the Centre Pompidou for a while this fall: since 2016, Cosmopolis offers “a new platform for the exploration of artistic practices based on the gaining and sharing of knowledge” that takes over the museum’s Galerie 3.

For Cosmopolis #2, the theme is "Rethink human" and the idea is to pay interest to "the reorientation of the technological means as well as the issues related to the notion of social scale and values". On the menu: works, of course, as well as talks, readings, performances... Exploring the possibilities of another world, "through artistic investigations about how social formations on a small scale - differently networked and working - can offer models and systems of alternative values, propositions displayed pay careful attetion to the micro-process and social rhythm". Fascinating!

Don't miss it.
