For Star-gazing Night, astronomy fans are expected at Ile de France’s Uranoscope in Seine-et-Marne on August 7 and 8, 2020! The perfect time to gaze at stars with a pro equipment.

How about spending the first weekend of August looking up? With Star-gazing Night 2020, enjoy these beautiful summer nights to gaze at the stars with amateur and experienced astronomers. Among the very large number of activities provided on the occasion in the region, the Uranoscope d'Ile-de-France, set in Gretz-Armainvilliers, Seine-et-Marne, invites you to discover all the mysteries of the celestial vault on August 7 and 8, 2020. A free event open to all!

From 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., families can even gaze at the stars with different scientific instruments, throw themselves into the magic world of astronomy. Note that to go and discover the starry night, a sky map will be given at the beginning of the night with all the necessary explanations to follow the stars and know every single detail about them!

Star-gazing Night 2020 program:

  • 9 p.m.: Introductory conference about sky-gazing
  • 9:45 p.m.: Observations through the telescopes settled and the sky constellations with your naked eyes.
