To mark Starry Night, the Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace is once again opening its doors free of charge for a special evening event on Saturday, August 2, 2025.

The Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace in Le Bourget is the place to be for Nuits des Étoiles. There's no better place to enjoy these magical evenings, admiring the beauty of the celestial spectacle playing out above us. On Saturday August 2, 2025 , from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m., the museum will be opening its doors to visitors free of charge during the night, to delight astronomy enthusiasts and novices alike who want to find out more about space!

We'll be meeting on the tarmac, free of any artificial lighting, to observe the sky and the shooting stars, with the naked eye or telescopes. As always, there's plenty of entertainment for families on this bright summer's evening, as well as an opportunity to see the currentFlight exhibition before it disappears, and the permanent exhibition, as all the museum's halls and aircraft are accessible free of charge!

The evening program

Spacey karaoke - 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Mythical songs, musical quizzes, interstellar challenges: young and old alike are welcome to give their all and have fun under the wings of the Concorde.

"Jusqu'à la Lune" strolling show - 9:30 pm

A world in disharmony, a sinking star, a forgotten Prince... When Barn, the messenger, finally reunites with his young sovereign Léo, the facts are stark: the world is crushed under discordance and the Prince has amnesia. For good? But two luminous, serene angels mysteriously appear to show the new way and get the whole world moving again: the Moon won't be there for nothing... A poetic, musical and fairytale tale, a show at the crossroads of several street arts: dance, aerial fabric, music, white stilt-walkers. Never before seen on the museum's tarmac!

Lecture - The question of the evening - "Do you think space looks like it does in science fiction movies?" - at 8:30pm

What's space really like? Is it as spectacular, populated by strange creatures and giant spaceships as it is in science fiction films? Under the eye of an expert in the field, participants discover how science fiction stories influence our vision of space, and what space missions teach us about the universe.

A great program not to be missed at the Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace!
