Disneyland Paris unveils Disney Cascade of Lights, a captivating new evening show set to debut at Adventure Bay Lake in its latest zone, starting March 29, 2026, in the Walt Disney Studios area (the upcoming Disney Adventure World). This mesmerizing performance blends underwater drones, water screens, pyrotechnics, and stunning visual effects... We had the exclusive chance to see it early, and here’s what you need to know!

At Disneyland Paris, evenings are taking on a whole new dimension around Adventure Bay with the debut of Disney Cascade of Lights, the resort's latest nighttime spectacle. Set on the lake inside the Walt Disney Studios (soon to be rebranded as Disney Adventure World), this dazzling show will light up visitors' nights starting March 29, 2026.

Every evening, the central water basin transforms into a captivating stage, blending water screens, choreographed fountain displays, large-scale projections, pyrotechnic effects, visual illusions, and a drone show in the sky. Not to mention the 379 drones that dance above, creating a graceful and intricate aerial ballet.

The show, created in collaboration with Dronisos, features a brand-new soundtrack that sets the scene. Among the highlights is a unique rendition of "Le Bleu Lumière", originally heard in the film Moana. This performance takes audiences on an epic journey, drawing inspiration from Disney heroes like Hercules, Zootopia, Mulan, and even Marvel universe characters. The show's official anthem, titled "We Can Be Heroes", perfectly captures the spirit of this dazzling night-time spectacle!

A 360° night show

A breathtaking spectacle — and this is where the ingenuity really shines — surrounds the lake in a full 360-degree panorama. The concept: enable more visitors to enjoy the show without crowding each other. During our visit to Adventure Bay in April 2025, Imagineering team members explained that the lake’s surroundings were designed with this in mind, featuring various elevations to ensure everyone has a clear view of the spectacle.

A show that could also, as Michel Den Dulk, Vice President and Portfolio Executive Creative Director at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, told us, take place at the same time as the Disneyland Park night show."Our partners are of course working on the show schedule," he explains. But unfortunately, you may well have to make a choice once this one's in operation. And of course, a special view will be offered on The Regal View restaurant.

Our review of the Disney Cascade of Lights show at Disney Adventure World:

We had the chance to see this show before its official opening. At just 17 minutes, it immerses you in the worlds of numerous Disney, Pixar, and Marvel films — and even more than what Disneyland Paris initially announced. Mulan, Hercules, Zootopia… many universes are showcased, with no favorites left out. Raya, Buzz Lightyear, Nemo, Marlin and Dory, Carl Fredricksen (from Up)… Disney and Pixar fans, whether new or longtime enthusiasts, will find plenty to enjoy.

The show is visible all around the lake, as we explained, with four water screens positioned at the four cardinal points of the park. Keep in mind that there are no intrusive light effects — all surrounding buildings are turned off during the presentation, allowing the visual spectacle to take center stage.

Our recommendations:

Is there an ideal spot to watch the show? That’s the big question. And the answer: not really. After chatting with a cast member (park employee) to see if he had any tips, we found that there is one spot just in front of The Regal View restaurant, from where you can catch a glimpse of the World of Frozen mountain in the background. A brief lighting sequence on the mountain creates a special effect — something you won't see elsewhere — but it’s very subtle.

Other than that, the show can be enjoyed from almost anywhere. Of course, it's best if you're positioned along the axis facing the water screens — this ensures you're directly in front of the spectacle.

As for the drones, everything has been planned for 360-degree visibility. The aquatic drones add an extra touch of magic, interacting with the water’s reflection during the show. Some even shoot sparks, which surprisingly caught us off guard — we weren’t expecting that.

If you love the interplay of light and water, we recommend getting as close as possible to the lake. Otherwise, any elevated vantage point (the winding pathways around the lake are tiered like seating) will do the trick. Now, all that’s left is for you to experience it firsthand.

We can't wait! See you on March 29, 2026, to discover this show!
