Nestled along the Ourcq Canal, in the very heart of Parc de la Villette (Paris 19th), Jardin21 has reopened for the 2026 season, from April 2 to September 26, 2026. This 1,600-square-metre third-place—where urban gardening, celebration, and artistic creation converge—kicks off the season with a free, inclusive, and festive spirit, welcoming audiences of all kinds.
In July the garden truly steps into summer. Days grow longer, the warmth invites you to settle outside, and evenings naturally extend as the sun sinks. Between shaded corners, sunny spots and long, convivial tables, everyone finds their rhythm—from early afternoon right through to nightfall.
An open‑air haven where visitors come not only to unwind but to soak up the collective energy and the programming that keeps the venue buzzing throughout the season.
Monday, July 13, from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m., Danza Autoriza makes its way to Jardin21 to kick off the summer in style. The collective returns for a high-energy, atmospheric night with its crew on the decks, joined by guest RAGWA.

Saturday 18 July, two free gardening workshops available by registration: “Propagating aromatic cuttings” from 2:30 to 3:30 pm, followed by “Herbarium: harvesting plants and preparing them for drying” from 4:30 to 5:30 pm. A perfect moment to get your hands dirty, connect with living nature, and enjoy a green, sociable day.
These offerings, free to join with registration, are open to all and reflect the venue’s commitment to sharing simple, hands-on practices around living things.
From 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, the writing workshop Queer en Sueur, conceived and led by author Camille Cornu, arrives at Jardin21 for a session of writing and the development of collective narratives about the experiences of our queer bodies in the heat, in the city. We put into words the reflections that living with heat invites, the strategies to inhabit, tame, and reclaim our bodies, and to imagine possible utopias.
From 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., the Recyclerie Sportive sets up for a warm, community-driven sports fair. On the agenda: affordable sports clothing and equipment to widen access to sports and promote reuse.
Sunday, July 19, Jardin21 unveils a gentler morning program with an outdoor vinyasa yoga session. Designed as a moment to breathe and reboot, this class invites you to reset in a natural setting, carried by music and the flow of dynamic yoga.
Dream in Ambient transforms Jardin21 into a dreamlike refuge for a day of music and a creators’ market. From afternoon to evening, a soothing atmosphere with delicate soundscapes, basslines that mingle with the wind, and slow textures. On the lineup: Léo, Tishka (Evolove) and Eloge (Paysage Sonore), for a sensitive journey through luminous deep house, jazz, and organic ambient. In parallel, a dream market offers vintage stalls, illustrations and tactile objects, inviting a stroll between a floating exhibition and collective reverie.
This month, a blend of celebration, creativity, gardening, yoga, and shared moments perfectly captures Jardin21’s spirit: a hybrid, joyful, and welcoming space where people come as much to dance as to learn, unwind, or feed their curiosity.
