Jardin21, season 2026: a week of celebration, nature and cultural discoveries at the heart of Parc de la Villette

Published by Communiqué Sponsorisé · Updated on May 20, 2026 at 12:49 p.m.
In May, Jardin21, the festive and green community hub perched along the Canal de l’Ourcq in the 19th arrondissement, extends the season with a rich and varied program. Take the chance to fully enjoy these fine days: engaged initiatives, gardening workshops, youth activities, festive evenings, a yoga session... Everything’s in place to escape without leaving Paris! Free admission.

Nestled along the Ourcq Canal, in the very heart of Parc de la Villette (Paris 19th), Jardin21 has reopened for the 2026 season, from April 2 to September 26, 2026. This 1,600-square-metre third-place—where urban gardening, celebration, and artistic creation converge—kicks off the season with a free, inclusive, and festive spirit, welcoming audiences of all kinds.

For this final week of May, the heatwave is taking hold across France. People are seeking refuge at Jardin21: the cool shade under our fruit trees, the sun for those who want to catch some rays, and the sunsets, with tables spilling out later and later.

The lineup is expanding with fresh happenings: a book club, a screening, a youth-focused event, a flea market, and samba. Alongside these new offerings, the familiar formats return: Check and Mates, Talkin’ All That Jazz, yoga, the comedy club, the blind test, and, of course, a host of DJ sets that keep the month buzzing.

This week, Jardin21 puts the outdoors in the spotlight, with a program spanning the kitchen garden, talks, screenings, a creators' market, and DJ sets

Wednesday, May 27, the garden will transform into an outdoor yoga studio with a class from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., a perfect way to reset and unwind at the end of the day.

At 7:30 p.m., the open-airJeunes Pousses takes the stage. Each month, Jardin21 welcomes rising talents who, often without equipment or real visibility, seize the open-air setting to share their picks with the audience. For this edition, Efflam, hedi.n.foggy and sara_labb trade places on the decks, blending house, groove and fresh energy for a night that’s clearly elevated by a culture of sound.

Thursday, May 28, Bad Habits takes over Jardin21 for a night of house, disco, and electro-influenced vibes; the collective keeps the overgrown space dancing until the early hours, turning this bad habit into the standout moment of the week.
