VR fans, here’s something for you! Let’s run to Illucity, the first virtual reality park that has just opened a stone’s from Paris Cité des Sciences in the 19th arrondissement. Escape rooms, games and other immersive experiences… Come and discover the place’s activities!
When reality and virtual are deceptive… A definition definitely suiting Illucity, the first virtual reality park in Paris. Set in the 19th arrondissement, a stone’s throw from the Cité des Sciences and Vill’Up, this place provides a whole range of activities and other VR experiences, never seen before in the French capital and undoubtedly delighting VR and video games enthusiasts.
The park even goes further the simple experience since the latter “goes beyond the game and sees virtual reality like an exclusive, accessible and collective experience”, the whole with the help “of a cutting-edge technology and an attractive production”. It’s the collective experience that is give pride of place here since Illucity especially provides game sessions in groups, whether you’re simply equipped with joystick or the entire portable gear for a total immersion in a virtual universe.
At Illucity, the adventure starts from the entrance, with a graphic décor reminding us of the optical illusion and other trompe-l’oeil. A sensory journey that continues to the game rooms for a total immersion and a “plural illusion”, as visual as sound or tactile. In terms of experience, the 1000-sqm center provides a whole range of activities for four kinds of VR approach: Hyper Reality Experience, VR Escape Game, VR Arcade and VR Film. All you need to satisfy your curiosity whether you’re a beginner or already skilled in the VR world.

Crazy Monkey fomented a Machiavellian plan and now controls all the other toys. - Assassin’s Creed: Escape the Lost Pyramid – VR Escape Game, Ubisoft

Have you ever felt like you just witnessed a scene you shouldn't have? This is what happens to our robot hero, Bill, a father leaving for work kissing his wife and son goodbye like every other morning. Enjoyable by everyone, this 4D animated film is signed by Eric Darnell (Madagascar) and inspired by the movie War of the Worlds (1953): invaders considered as "advanced" are finally defeated by terrestrial germs.
