When Stranger Things takes on video games... Netflix has announced the upcoming release of Stranger Things VR, a virtual reality game based on its flagship series, on November 30, 2023, according to JV.com. A game developed by the Tender Claws studio, and published by the SVOD platform, which should be available"on all virtual reality platforms". The game is now revealed in a trailer.
The game has a surprising twist... And for good reason: you don't play as Eleven, as you might have thought, but as an equally interesting character: Vecna! Season 4's Machiavellian villain will be the protagonist of this game, giving you the chance to travel the Upside Down World and use his telekinetic gifts to progress through the story.
"Play as Vecna. Become an explorer of unknown realities by training the hive mind and taming the void. Invade minds and create nightmares in your quest for revenge against Eleven and Hawkins", explains the experience's website. A dream come true...
It's the best way to wait for the release of the fifth season, due on Netflix at least in 2024.
