Children and adults will roar with pleasure! The reason to it? Disneyland Paris will offer for the summer season, between July and September 2019 (dates to be announced) a festival around the Lion King and the Jungle Book. An invitation to travel to exotic, colorful and different lands “where luxuriant nature and immersive experiences” are expecting the exploring kids and adults.
Timon, Pumbaa, Simba, Baloo… They’re all waiting for you to “live at the sound of the drums” – and other wild music – as well as to offer adventurers to be to discover the whole Disney universe around their own feature-length movies, animated or live-action. A festival dedicated to the kings of the savanna echoing the release of the live-action Lion King said to be out in July 2019 and made by American Jon Favreau.
On the menu of this crazy festival: meetings mainly, as well as incredible experiences to discover in the alleys of the Parisian theme park around a specific theme, travelling and sharing.

The story of the Lion King will come to life at Disneyland Paris with a totally unique show. The famous songs that rocked several generations of children and parents will be covered to tell the incredible tale of Simba, Nala, Mufasa, Scar, Rafiki and even Timon and Pumbaa. On the menu, new spectacular scenes for "The Circle of life", "I just can't wait to be king", "Can you feel the love tonight" or the all-time cult "Hakuna Matata". Singers, dancers, acrobtas and drummers... they will all bring the Pride Lands back to life with totally original Disneyland Paris choreographies and costumes. A show also available in French sign language on weekends.
Disneyland Paris offers another original creation celebrating this time "The Jungle Book" in the heart of the theme parks. A journey filled with colors and discoveries through the Indian jungle for children and parents likely to see some astonishing sights! The "The King of the Swingers" show will parade all over the park and amaze children and grown-ups. Be ready to have lots of fun with Baloo and King Louie, as well as Mickey and all his friends who will become on the occasion the explorers of the season. Accompanied by many artists, they will all make you dance at the rhythm of the jungle. Let's swing!
Disneyland Paris also has many surprises in store to take you to the heart of The Lion King's mischievous duo's adventures. Timon the mangoose and Pumbaa the warthog expect you in Adventureland to teach you their philosophy and making you be part of the "Timon's MataDance". Let's dance, friends, shall we?
This year, the theme park puts on a great spread and offers you to discover the "Djembe Joy" village. The aim? Enjoying a new immersive and interactive experience over these two Disney classics. Rafiki and King Louie expect you to make you live this unforgettable moment. All this with many other surprises.
And for people loving to sleep under the stars, the parks offers a very surprising contest: the possibility to win one night in the Park "in a camp inspired by the Indian nomads' tentes" in the middle of Adventureland. On the menu for the winner: a tour of the backstage of the new musical show "The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands" and "King of the Swingers" show, an exotic dinner cooked by the Park chefs around a firecamp, meeting with Mickey and Minnie - among others. Note that no one ever - since Disneyland Paris opened in 1992 - has had the chance to spend the night in the middle of the Park. Entry requirements here...
Gastronomy isn't left out since Disneyland Paris offers many specific food options for all tastes and needs. Small and grown-up explorers will be able to enjoy " a sweet break with the Simba ice cream with exotic flavors at the Hakuna Matata restaurant, or the lion paw shaped cookies". The Hakuna Matata restaurant will also deiver all season long a unique table service with "an Africa-inspired dish" as well as "a Savanah Delights meal including the African plate (also available in vegan version) as well as the Exotic Paradise Ice Cream". Visitors can even meet Rafiki and Mickey wearing an exploring outfit for an exotic and festive moment.

Note that several new merchandise ranges inspired by this new season are available, especially inspired by "The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands" as well as a Signature experience.
