Parrot World, a zoo dedicated to South American animals, located in Seine-et-Marne, Crécy-la-Chapelle, opened its doors in August 2020. If you have not yet visited this zoological park, jaguars, penguins and other multicolored parrots that evolve in one of the largest aviaries in Europe are waiting for you, with an option of lodges to sleep close to the animals. And from early February (or during school vacations, except Christmas), children can experience an even more intense immersion for half a day by slipping into the shoes of a caretaker. This activity, which can be booked now, brings children into contact with the park's fascinating species.
In the company of Parrot World's caretakers, they can help prepare meals and feed the animals, discover how their living spaces are maintained, observe their behavior and learn how to stimulate their natural instincts. These workshops are open to children aged 8 to 14 accompanied by an adult, so you and your family can share in this wonderful moment of discovery. "Soigneur d'un jour" gives access to the park for the day, so don't forget your soigneur's diploma when you leave!
