There's good news for all you young and old scientists out there, as the Fête de la Science returns to Paris and the rest of the Île-de-France region. To mark the occasion, the Parc aux étoiles, located in the Yvelines region, is offering workshops and tours with free admission.

It's an annual event that science fans and enthusiasts wouldn't miss for the world. The Fête de la Science celebrates its 32nd edition from October 6 to 16, 2023. Every year since 1991, the Fête de la Science has provided an opportunity to raise public awareness of science, encourage the sharing of knowledge between researchers and the general public, and showcase the work of the scientific community. How do we do it? By offering a series of free events (visits, workshops, meetings...) in schools and universities, museums and many other venues.

In Paris and the greater Paris region, numerous events have been announced for this autumn. This is particularly the case in Yvelines. In 2019, the Fête de la Science in the 78 département will be coordinated by Parc Aux Étoiles, CCSTI des Yvelines. This year, the Parc Aux Étoiles is continuing this departmental coordination and invites you to join us on October 7, 2023 to dive into the world of science in all its aspects.

Located on the Hautil hill in Triel-sur-Seine, the Parc aux Etoiles is the second-highest site in the Île-de-France region, making it easy to observe the sky. And last but not least, this is where France's largest astronomical telescope (225 mm) has been installed. The telescope is open to the public.
