The Fête de la Science is the general public's rendezvous with science. For the 32nd edition of the event, from October 6 to 16, 2022, numerous workshops, festivals, exhibitions and tours will be on offer. With a program that's 100% free of charge and accessible to children aged 3 and over, the Fête de la Science is for everyone.
Like every year, the 32nd edition of the Fête de la Science has its own theme,"Sport & Science". Over the course of the 10-day program, researchers will not only be raising public awareness of this cause, but also explaining its consequences and the scientific link between sport and science.
TheMeudon Observatory was created in the 19th century as a place dedicated to astrophysics, a science that had been little studied until then. Attached to the Paris Observatory in 1927, it is famous for its terraces, from which you can enjoy a panoramic view of Paris, and is also a green space located in the Domaine national de Meudon. For the Fête de la Science, the Observatory is offering tours open to all from October 12 to 14, 2023, as well as a series of lectures on astrophysics on the same afternoon.
