Little Circus at Little Villette, a free, artful and playful weekend for young acrobats

Time passes, the world changes and evolves. And yet some things never change. From generation to generation, the cirque has always inspired dreams in young and old, with its big top, its acrobats, its clowns and its magicians... And if your little ones could also find themselves on the ring, under the glare of the spotlights?

Little Villette, the kids’ zone at La Villette, is hosting a circus arts weekend on May 30–31, 2026. Curious youngsters from age 4 can try their hand at juggling or acrobatics through free workshops that spark creativity as well as physical skill!

This weekend "Little Cirque" lets children learn new games and skills, make friends, and dive into the magical world of circus arts. The activities offered to the youngest could even spark new callings... All Little Cirque activities are free. Some, however, require registration: arriving early is advised to be sure you can join in.

• Circus Trio
  From age 4
  Follow the circus performer’s tips to master acrobatic lifts, try your hand at juggling, and have fun with trampoline or the hula hoop!
  Saturday & Sunday: 3:30 PM, 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM
  Duration about 30 minutes.

• My Miniature Circus
  From age 4
  Create traditional circus figures from paper, or add a splash of color and bring the miniature circus to life.

• Juggling Balls
  From age 4
  A little semolina in a balloon and you’ve got your own juggling balls.
  Saturday & Sunday: 3 PM, 4 PM and 5 PM
  Duration about 30 minutes.
