On June 21 last year, right after The Offspring took the stage, Hellfest attendees were treated to a welcome surprise. The organizers announced that the festival dedicated to extreme music will host even more acts next year, expanding from 183 artists this year to more than 300 in 2027!
But that’s not all, as the next Hellfest edition – titled "The Absolute Edition" – will unveil four additional stages, taking the festival site from 6 to 10 stages. The essential Mainstage 1 and Mainstage 2 won’t move. However, there will be a complete overhaul of the placement of the other stages, as well as the Metal Corner and Hellcity zones. Hellbangers will thus get to discover the Warzone and the Riot, the Valley and the Abyss, the Altar and the Forge, and finally the Temple and the Crypt.
The festival’s size won’t be increased, and the capacity won’t rise. Hellfest will thus continue to welcome 60,000 festival-goers per day. Moreover, the camping area will not be relocated, the organizers stressed.
This 2027 edition of Hellfest, marking the festival’s 20th anniversary, will again unfold over four days—from Thursday, June 17 to Sunday, June 20. As for the ticketing, expect the usual rush every year. All four-day passes go on sale on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at 1:00 PM on the Hellfest site. What about the prices for this edition? To elevate the experience, pass prices will be higher. The price of the famous four-day Pass, the one that sells out each year as soon as tickets go live, is now known.
In a post shared on social media and the Hellfest app, the organizers disclosed that the price of the 4-day pass is set at 389 euros (plus 10 euros in service fees). As for the price of the 1-day pass, it will be announced later.
