How about an indulging and comforting spot to enjoy tasty pastries? Great! We have found a lovely tearoom hidden in a covered passage in Paris. To get there, you have to get in the magnificent Galerie Vivienne. This is in this place listed as historic monument, in a luxurious setting paying tribute to the charm of Paris that lays Le Petit Valentin.
This tearoom attracts foodies with beautiful pastries spreading in the window display. If you want to be even more immersed and amazed by the beauty of this passage, take a seat on the terrace. And if you are more into staying cozy, head in Le Petit Valentin to enjoy this cocoon of warmth and comfort inspired by old-fashioned Paris.
On the menu, homemade pastries likely to delight sweet-toothed. The day we came, we fell in love with the pastry of the day that eyed at us as soon as we got in. it was an exotic creation based on mango and passion fruit, with delicious fruit compote in the middle, topping madeleine cake.
We also ordered the Azélia, a regressive creation based on hazelnut cake, milk chocolate mousse, and a heart made of mango and passion fruit compote as well. Flavorful, but not too sweet, these pastries hit the nail on the head: we love them. To pair these delicious pastries, you can fall for some Dammann Frères tea from the large selection or Le Chouchou, a homemade hot chocolate made by the book.
But if you happen to be more into savory food, please come in: the lunch menu invites you to enjoy French classics such as croque-monsieur, or go for some avocado toast or the soup of the day, perfect on colder days.
