Propriété du Département des Hauts-de-Seine, the Maison de Chateaubriand is a writer’s home dedicated to François-René de Chateaubriand and to the literary heritage of the 19th century up to today. It is labeled “Maison des illustres.” The house and its 11-hectare park are set in a 60-hectare estate of preserved nature, 8 kilometers from Paris.
