July 14, 2025 in Paris: Traffic and parking restrictions for the fireworks display

This Monday, July 14th, France celebrates its national holiday! In Paris, three highlights are particularly eagerly awaited: the military parade down the Champs-Elysées, the fireworks display from the Eiffel Tower, and the concert on the Champ-de-Mars.

And organizing these colossal events is no mean feat! Every year, the Préfecture de Police announces traffic restrictions and security measures to ensure the smooth running of these not-to-be-missed celebrations. With parking, secure perimeters, car-free zones and closed metro and RER stations, this year's security measures are once again extensive.

During the day and evening of July 13 and 14, a major public security operation will be launched in Paris and its inner suburbs. The aim is to combat crime and prevent public disorder. Particular attention will be paid to public transport, with increased surveillance of stations, especially those used to access the sites of the celebrations.

And for those of you planning to take your car, here's an update on parking and traffic restrictions in connection with the fireworks display from the Eiffel Tower. Parking for all motorized vehicles is prohibited from 7 a.m. on July 14 to 2 a.m. on July 15 in several streets in the 7th, 8th, 15th and 16th arrondissements.

Motorized traffic is also prohibited from 1pm on July 14th to 2am on July 15th in several streets in the 7th and 16th arrondissements.

The parking of all motor vehicles is prohibited from July 14, 2025 at 07:00 to July 15, 2025 at 02:00 within the perimeter delimited by the following roads which are not affected by this parking ban, unless otherwise stated, in Paris 7th, 8th, 15th and 16th :

Article 2 : A titre provisoire, la circulation est interdite sur la Voie Georges Pompidou sens Province Paris entre la bretelle d'accès Lamballe au Pont Bir Hakeim, Paris 16eme dans la nuit du samedi 12 juillet 2025 au dimanche 13 juillet 2025 de 22h30 à 05h00.
