Fête Nationale in Argenteuil (95): Fireworks and entertainment on July 13, 2023 - POSTPONED

The Fête nationale 2023 is being held in Argenteuil on the evening of July 13. On the program: the traditional fireworks display, of course, as well as a host of entertainment! Attention, event postponed!

Please note: the fireworks display scheduled for July 13, 2023, for the Fête nationale, in Argenteuil, has been postponed on the recommendation of the Val d'Oise prefecture and state representatives, as explained by the town in a tweet. Date of postponement to be announced shortly.

It's always a moment of sharing and intense joy to celebrate the Fête nationale, every July 14th. This year, Argenteuil offers us a program rich in emotion. First of all, let's remember the meaning of this day: commemorating the storming of the Bastille in 1789 and the Fête de la Fédération the following year, it's an opportunity to celebrate our national unity, our attachment to the Republic and our values of liberty, equality and fraternity. This is particularly true in Argenteuil, where the festivities will be in full swing the day before, on Thursday July 13, 2023, with a spectacular fireworks display at 11pm!

Argenteuil, a city of history and culture, knows how to pay tribute to these celebrations. It's here that you'll find the authentic charm of the Ile-de-France region, a town that's both urban and green, and has preserved its historical heritage. The Hôtel de Ville park, where the fireworks display will take place, is a perfect example. And the fireworks are just the highlight of a day packed with entertainment! Get ready to take over rue Paul-Vaillant-Couturier, partially pedestrianized for the occasion, from Thursday July 13. You'll find a wide range of activities, from the Cousu Main workshop for zero waste awareness and original creations from fabric scraps, to an introduction to electric scooters from the Two Roule workshop. Not forgetting a musette concert from 8pm. Avenue Gabriel-Péri will also be closed to traffic near the town hall to allow the public to admire the fireworks in complete safety. On Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 11 p.m., the fireworks will be fired from the Hôtel de Ville park. Spectators will be able to stand on avenue Gabriel-Péri, which will be closed to traffic on the section near the town hall.
