Every year, France celebrates its national holiday around July 14th. On this occasion, fireworks displays, popular balls and other traditional festivities take place all over France.
In Paris, two highlights attract locals and visitors alike: the military parade down the Champs-Elysées and the iconic fireworks display from the Eiffel Tower. But the capital isn't the only one in a festive mood!
Everywhere in the Paris Region, a festive program awaits you between July 13 and 14, 2025! It's the perfect opportunity to discover plans close to home, or to conquer the region's heritage. In the Val d'Oise, the town of Herblay-sur-Seine awaits you to take part in the Fête Nationale festivities!
This charming commune on the banks of the Seine, bordering the Yvelines département, is surrounded by a beautiful green landscape, while in its historic town center you'll come across here and there remnants of the past, offering intriguing anachronistic elements for you to discover on your stroll.
Not far from here, in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, you can even discover an astonishing floating chapel. It's a great way to fill the day before enjoying the July 14th festivities!
The festivities kick off at 9.30pm with the traditional distribution of tricolored lanterns to children by elected members of the town council. Then it's time for the torchlight procession through the streets of the town center, before heading off to the quays of the Seine for the rest of the festivities.
A pyrotechnic and musical show will be fired at precisely 11pm from the south bank of the Seine, visible from the banks of the Seine or from the belvedere of Saint-Martin church. The reflection of the fireworks on the river will be a spectacular sight!
An open-air party in the Parc de la Mairie, hosted by a DJ, will bring the event to a close.
