July 14th is one of the highlights of summer in France. This day marks the Fête Nationale, and for the occasion, numerous festivities enliven the four corners of the country. You can dance the night away at one of the many bals populaires and bals des pompiers , enjoy family entertainment, marvel at the fireworks and pyrotechnic displays... As you've probably guessed, it's a great opportunity to enjoy the traditional celebrations of the Fête Nationale.
