July 14th is a day of celebration in France. To say the least, it's the date of the Fête Nationale! For the occasion, fireworks displays, firemen's balls and other festivities celebrating the Republic are held all over the country.
In Paris, many people flock to the Champs Elysées to watch the military parade down the world's most beautiful avenue, before finding their ideal spot to watch the highlight of the show: the fireworks display from the Eiffel Tower.
While all eyes are on the capital, the Ile-de-France region is not to be outdone, with many communes taking it in turns to unveil their own Fête Nationale programs!

Come celebrate the Republic with us in Sarcelles! Stroll through town in the colors of the Republic, accompanied by a brass band. Entertainment, quizzes and games will punctuate your journey.
