"Due to weather conditions and the high risk of fire linked to the drought, the Prefecture prohibits fireworks displays within 200 meters of wooded or natural areas. Due to the time constraints imposed by the announcement of this decision, it is not possible to move the July 13 fireworks display to another location in the city. The numerous logistical and technical constraints involved mean that it cannot be held. The town thanks you for your understanding.
With almost 1600 years of history, Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois has many treasures to reveal! You'll discover historic sites such as the Church and the Donjon, a tower listed as a historical monument since 1923, but that's not all. You can also plunge into the heart of local legend by venturing to the Grotte, where you'll catch a glimpse of the famous spring that is the source of the town's history.
