Fête Nationale 2025 in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges (94): Fireworks, ball, lanterns

As July 14th approaches, the whole of France is in a festive mood. Not surprising, since it's the national holiday. This celebration is marked by festive events in every corner of the country! With fireworks displays, popular balls and other entertainment for young and old, the French are determined to mark the occasion.

In Paris, it's a chance to admire the highlights of the festivities, including the traditional military parade up theChamps Elysées and the spectacular fireworks display from the Eiffel Tower.

While the City of Light is a real eye-catcher for the Fête Nationale, the rest of the Île-de-France region is no exception! If you're in the Val-de-Marne region, the town of Villeneuve-Saint-Georges has plenty of events planned for the whole family.

But before you go and watch the fireworks, you can also explore the surrounding heritage, including the Villeneuve-Saint-Georges fort, the Senlis mills and the Grosbois estate. All in all, a very full day to enjoy the Fête Nationale to the full!

Program for the Fête Nationale 2025 in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges (94) :

This year, Mayor Kristell Niasme and the municipal team invite you to celebrate the French National Holiday on July 14, 2025, in a convivial and fun-filled atmosphere. A festive program awaits you to enjoy with family and friends, young and old alike.

• From 5pm: July 14th ceremony at the Théâtre de Verdure
• 5:30pm : vin d'honneur after the ceremony
• 6pm: free pony rides for children, wooden games, entertainment, Place de l'Europe
• From 7pm: picnic - tablecloths will be available, and food-trucks will be on hand in Place de l'Europe.
• 8.30pm: dance (first part"children's boom"), place de l'Europe
• 10 p.m.: lantern-lit parade from Place de l'Europe to the Clément Ader stadium, for the fireworks display.
• A brass band will be on hand to make sure you enjoy the day and celebrate our country.
