A big Christmas weekend in Provins, on December 10 and 11, 2022

Set only 1-hour drive from Paris, the beautiful medieval city of Provins welcomes families on December 10 and 11, 2022, for a wonderful Christmassy weekend.

On December 10 and 11, the city of Provins hosts not one but three markets to celebrate the Holidays. It features a medieval market with about sixty craftsmen and craftswomen taking you back in time, a farmers' market held by the Ferme du Châtel farm to enjoy the local specialties, and the traditional Christmas market and free entertainments for the entire family with Santa Claus.

Several guided tours will be proposed, one themed on celebrations in the Middle-Ages, and staged tours about the "ladies and knights" or "legends and belief" in this time.
