Indulge in the fruity, gourmet flavors of an ice-cream log from David Gallienne, starred chef at Le Jardin des Plumes restaurant in Giverny and winner of Top Chef 2020.

It was in the heart of his ovens at the Le Jardin des Plumes restaurant in Giverny that Michelin-starred chef David Gallienne, the overall winner of Top Chef 2020, set about creating a Christmas log for 2020, in collaboration with Maison Theodor .

The chef works not far from the warehouses of this tea house, in Giverny, and has taken up the challenge of introducing his emblematic dessert "Chou Fleur Mangue Coco Passion", revisited in the form of an ice cream log to be enjoyed with the family for Christmas dinner, or to celebrate the New Year on delicious notes.

Named L'Etoile Polaire, this ice log is set on a coconut crumble-style shortbread and reveals itself to gourmands in an elegant white chocolate ice parfait, with notes of cauliflower and vanilla, all infused with the House's 'Maître Fang' green tea.

Inside, there's an insert with a gourmet heart, featuring pieces of mango and an infusion of the citrus-scented rooïbos 'Trahison byzantine'. This combination of flavors, as surprising as it is bewitching, is sure to delight any guest: white chocolate, cauliflower, exotic fruit and citrus.

The Etoile Polaire log can be pre-ordered until December 15, and will be available for collection in the two weeks before Christmas from the sales outlet chosen at the time of ordering. Price: €65 for an ice-cream log for 6 people!
