Once again this year, the Printemps Haussmann in Paris has the city gliding on skates! For Noël 2026, the grand department store rolls out the thread of "Un Noël bien tricoté," with its mischievous cats, mice and skeins running the show. And because the holidays deserve a few twists, its free perched ice rink makes a triumphant return.
From the street, the Printemps’ Christmas window displays set the tone, but for skating enthusiasts, the headline act is clearly in the 7th heaven, literally! On the rooftop of Printemps Femme, on the 7th floor, the 7th Heaven Rink returns with a 105 m² synthetic ice sheet. A chance to carve arabesques over the capital, with Paris’ rooftops for a backdrop and a photocall around the Eiffel Tower to capture the moment.
Small, hence exclusive: only fifteen skaters can take the ice at once, across 12 daily 30-minute slots. Open to everyone aged 6 and up, from November 7, 2026 to January 3, 2027, between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., the rink is completely free, with registration via the Printemps site. With nearly 9,000 participants expected, it’s best to book your skating turn! And before you lace up, a detail not to forget: gloves are mandatory!
And to melt with pleasure between two glides, a gourmet stand also awaits visitors on the terrace. Just what you need to recharge before another lap on the track!
