In Essonne, Vauhallan is getting ready to transform itself into an enchanted village for the holiday season. With Christmas approaching, it's time to enjoy the festive programs that await us during this magical time of year. On the weekend of November 29 and 30, 2025, this charming town in the Essonne department invites us to enjoy a lovely stroll with our loved ones as it unveils its Christmas village.
Throughout the weekend, a fabulous program of festive activities for young and old alike awaits us at Place du Général Leclerc. This year, you can expect to find a toboggan run, virtual games, a face painting stand, a teddy bear workshop under the market hall, a merry-go-round, trampolines... and of course, Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will be there to meet the children.
Foodies will also be in for a treat with food trucks and an oyster bar for seafood lovers, and street performers will provide entertainment throughout the weekend. See the full program here:

Children's entertainment*: Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- A sledding track (ages 3 and up);
- Virtual snow sports games (ages 6 and up);
- Trampolines (ages 5 and up);
- Face painting workshop (ages 2 and up);
- A merry-go-round (ages 2 to 8).
* Activities will be closed from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (except the merry-go-round) and the face painting workshop will end at 5:30 p.m. each day.

Sunday, November 30: 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.: Christmas Fairy Tale parade with Mona and the Precious Stones
Meet Santa Claus
Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and their elves will also be joining the festivities! Come meet them under the Halle to capture this unforgettable moment on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
