We're counting down the days, and the excitement is building: Christmas has never been so close! And to really get us into the festive spirit, the town of Brie-Comte-Robert in Seine-et-Marne has put together a whole program of events to enjoy from November 29, 2025, to January 3, 2026.
During the holiday season, the commune of 77 is transformed and lit up, to the delight of young and old alike. There are many festive events to enjoy, including some seasonal favorites such as the Christmas market, a visit from Santa Claus, and the lighting of a large decorated Christmas tree in the heart of the town. But the event not to be missed this December is, of course, the free fireworks display!

Christmas tree lighting
To kick off the festivities, come admire the lighting of the big Christmas tree! Standing 9 meters tall, it rises in the heart of a forest of small conifers from Yonne, adorned with decorations. Santa Claus and the Souffles d'envie company will accompany this magical moment.

Christmas show - Les yeux de Taqqi (Taqqi's Eyes)
The city is offering two intimate performances.
The story of Taqqi, a blind Inuit boy who wants to see, learn, and be empowered. Inspired by an Inuit legend, this show, nominated in the young audience category at the 2020 Molières, combines puppets, shadow puppets, and music to tell the story of this young boy's journey of discovery on the ice floes.

Marylou exhibition
Immerse yourself in a poetic and sensory universe with Marylou, visual artist, sound artist, and hacker. Through her installation, the audience is invited to manipulate instruments to explore the songs of birds in the Paris region. The opening will take place on December 13 at 11:30 a.m. with a musical performance by the artist.

Christmas Market
Under the lights of some twenty chalets, indulge in seasonal treats and find your last-minute gifts. Santa Claus will make an appearance to capture these magical moments in photos, free of charge. A mailbox will be waiting for him to collect letters. The inauguration will take place on Saturday, December 13 at 11 a.m.

Lantern parade and fireworks
Meet at 6 p.m. in front of the media library for the distribution of lanterns. Accompanied by the Circambull’Noël troupe, stroll towards the old castle and marvel at the fireworks at 7 p.m., a sound and light show that will fascinate young and old alike.
