During the All Saints' Day vacation in 2023, Château de Breteuil will be donning its spookiest costume, offering riddles, special events and original guided tours to immerse you in the site's Halloween atmosphere!

Get ready to bring out your best monster mask, witch's hat and scary costume: Halloween is back! For the occasion, many venues are decked out in the colors of the spookiest holiday of the year, including the Château de Breteuil, which is offering an exclusive program... all in the sign of fear. Will you dare to venture there?

On theHalloween 2023 program, get ready for an emotionally-charged night of haunting at the château on October 21, 2023, with plenty of enigmas and ghostly characters to guide you on your adventure! Then, on Sunday, October 29, come and spend a day under the sign of Halloween! You'll be able to visit the château - famous for having inspired Charles Perrault's fairy tales - listen to pumpkin tales, go on atreasure hunt in the château, take part in the torchlight procession or try your hand at winning the prize for the scariest costume or the most beautiful carved pumpkin! Don't forget to bring your carved pumpkin and your costume.

Course of the special Halloween day:

  • Visit the château from 11am to 12:30pm and from 2pm to 5:30pm
  • Treasure hunt from 2pm
  • Pumpkin tales at 3.30pm and 4.30pm
  • Torchlight procession at 5:30pm
  • Costume and carved pumpkin contest at 6:30pm
  • Sweet and savoury delights
