Halloween 2025 at the Musée d'art et d'Histoire Paul Eluard: krump cabaret and cabinet de l'étrange

It's a well-known fact: at the end of October, asHalloween approaches, many creatures emerge from their lairs to invade Paris and theIle-de-France region. You'll find ghosts in museums, zombies running around Parisian towns, pumpkins and skeletons in parks...

This phantasmagorical frenzy reaches as far as Saint-Denis: the Musée d'art et d'Histoire Paul Eluard is also joining in this great family and fun festival, with unusual animations that plunge us into the spooky atmosphere of the Feast of the Dead... From October 29 to November 2, 2025, strange events await you in the museum's halls.

Young and old alike will discover unexpected and mysterious works, goosebump-inducing stories, music and films to suit the occasion... Sensitive souls, please refrain: the Paul Eluard Museum of Art and History is going over to the strange side of the force, for this season of monsters! Lovers of the bizarre, you won't be disappointed.

  Wednesday, October 29, 3pm and 4pm
  A dark room usually closed to the public, strange objects from the storerooms, a suspicious-looking fortune-teller... Are you ready to enter the cabinet de l'étrange, the forgotten room in the museum that wakes up just to scare you?

  The Haunted Carmel
  Once a year, for Halloween, the people who work at the museum transform themselves! Doors creak, lights flicker and strange shadows look like ghosts... In this spooky atmosphere, if you're brave enough, come and visit the museum, guided by the mediators who seem to have lost their minds!

• The Krump Cabaret
  Friday, October 31, 7:30pm
  The Krump Cabaret returns to the museum chapel for Krump Fest Halloween. This evening brings together krump dancers and musicians from different worlds: jazz piano, viola, improvisation, opera singing and rap.
