A dinner, drag performances, and an atmosphere that breaks all the rules! Love Bazar takes over Lou Diprey in Paris for a series of evenings combining dinner with unforgettable drag shows. Scheduled for January 22, 23, 28, and 29, then February 20, 21, 25, and 26, with monthly Thursdays and Fridays starting in March 2026. Designed for an intimate setting, this scene-less format emphasizes closeness with the audience and a lively, bold musical ambiance, featuring a trio of drag artists accompanied by dancers.
On stage (and around the tables), Misty Phœnix, who gained fame through Drag Race France season 3 and All Stars, teams up with Azémylia and Jenny From The Blocnote. Together, they serve up a dynamic mix of singing performances, dance numbers, and humorous moments in a boldly queer atmosphere. The audience is part of the show, immersed in a custom-designed space concept featuring a modern revue and an energetic pop soundtrack.
The evening kicks off with a humorous and musical pre-show performed by Jenny From The Blocnote. From the very first moments, the audience is encouraged to be fully engaged: Love Bazar aims to be an interactive experience with no dividing lines between stage and seats. Carefully choreographed to the finest detail, the show seeks to make use of every corner of the Lou Diprey venue to deliver an immersive experience—blending artistic performance, warmth, and gourmet delights.
Guests enjoy the show while savoring a bistronomic meal crafted from seasonal ingredients and inspired by French cuisine. This dinner-show concept combines live entertainment with culinary discovery, aiming to offer a fully immersive experience set against a backdrop of chic queer ambiance and electro-pop vibes.
Our Take on Love Bazar at Lou Diprey:
We had the pleasure of experiencing this show... And what a show it was! Lasting two hours (with breaks and an upfront pre-show), it is a feast for the senses, featuring vocals by Jenny from the Blocnote (if you love vibrato-rich voices, don’t miss it), lip-sync performances, and jaw-dropping acrobatics—including a death drop by Azémylia—not to mention non-stop dance. Simply put: you won’t find a dull moment! This high-energy production is divided into three acts, each illustrating a different facet of Lou Diprey’s life—the first time anyone has performed on this stage.
It’s hilarious, lively, and incredibly sexy—exactly what you want from this type of show! A must-see if you’re comfortable with drag performances and sensual dance routines. The intimacy created by the performers mingling among the dinner guests adds a lively, authentic touch that enhances the experience.
As for the food, it was excellent across the board: starting with a divine comté gougère, then a smoked black tea gravlax with lemon confit and vodka, followed by a creamy parmesan risotto topped with fresh smoked trout and sautéed chanterelles—perfectly balanced—and ending with a dessert platter where you pick what tempts you (we chose a tasty tiramisu). Plus, a classic Normand digestif to help settle things down.
Regarding value for money, we were pleasantly surprised: 67 euros for a dinner and a show that combines quality cuisine with a polished performance—quite the bargain! Just note that drinks are not included in the price. Overall, we had a fantastic time. Highly recommended for lovers of cabaret, great food, and fabulous drag!
An offering designed to appeal to a variety of audiences
The show relies on a fast-paced rhythm, swift transitions, and genuine intimacy with the audience. There’s no traditional stage; instead, the performers move directly among the spectators, making each moment feel more lively, interactive, and spontaneous. This approach creates a more immersive and engaging experience for everyone involved.
From drag shows and electropop music to a gourmet bistro dinner, Love Bazar offers a rare mix in the Paris queer nightlife scene. If you're looking for an evening that breaks the mold—where you can enjoy delicious food while discovering talented artists in a free and inclusive atmosphere—then head over to Lou Diprey. It’s a must-see experience.
